This website is about the history, (both past and present), of the Twin Ports Broadcast Market located in Duluth, Minnesota and Superior, Wisconsin from 1922 to the present day.

The material contained here is not only historic in content, but is also a tribute to those who dedicated their time, talents, energies and careers to building a broadcast market that attracted many to the area to start or continue their careers in broadcasting. Some of them went on to even bigger opportunities in larger markets gaining plenty of fame and notoriety across the country.

There are even a few who bypassed local radio and television that went on into careers in other concentrations related to broadcasting. Some became famous musicians, producers, actors and voice over talent.

Many of these history makers are gone now. In some way we owe a debt of gratitude to the pioneers of radio and television broadcasting, not only from across the nation, but here in the Twin Ports aswell, who helped perfect the medium of Radio and Television that we now know today. Some of these men and women, spent most of their careers either behind the scenes or in front of a camera or behind a microphone. Without their talents, we would not have the rich history we know today. It is to those history makers that we dedicate this website.
