This page presents the KDAL air staff in 1948. Many of the names are familar as are the faces. We have built this entire page using the 1948 Winter-Spring Listeners Guide and the 1948-49 Hooper Ratings Guide. To view each image just click on one of the thumbnail images in the left hand margin to enlarge it for viewing. Thanks to Carl Casperson for supplying us with these rare documents for us to share with you.
We have taken the comments written below each personality's picture from the program guide as they actuallty appeared in the guide and reproduced them here to make reading them easier. Some of the printing on both the program guide and the Hooper guide did not reproduce as clear as we had hoped and in some cases the size of the document was too big to scan as one image so we had to scan them in pages and then put them back together digitally. We hope you will enjoy them.
